The programme

About Coastal Futures

Coastal Futures is a regional initiative for coastal climate resilience and green entrepreneurship for West African youth, led by AGI's Climate and Youth Cluster. It covers Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ghana, and combines training, business incubation, nature-based solutions and policy advocacy.

“The problem in West Africa is not a financing problem, but one of operational capacity.”Dr. Abdoulie Janneh, Director General and Board Chair of AGI

The Climate Innovation Hub is the programme's central support mechanism, following young promoters of green and blue projects from idea to implementation. The programme was launched in Dakar on 10 June 2026, under the banner of World Environment Day.
