An environmentalist by training and a recognised figure of green advocacy, Fanta Camara leads AGI’s Climate & Youth cluster, carrying an ambitious vision of ecological transition and youth inclusion, at just 25.

Fanta is the founding president of the first movement entirely dedicated to women’s climate leadership in West Africa.

Her expertise is recognised well beyond the continent. Fanta has taken part in five UN Climate Conferences of the Parties (COP), where she regularly speaks as a panelist on climate justice, security and peace.
